April 2018: Cressy Commercial Real Estate Completes Disposition of South Bend, IN Industrial Campus
MISHAWAKA (April 23, 2018) – The Cressy Commercial Real Estate team was proud to represent General Stamping and Metalworks in the disposition of their South Bend Industrial Campus. This 11-acre campus on S. Main Street in South Bend previously housed the manufacturing division and administrative offices for the company.
In March of 2018, the last 10,000 square foot building at 1902 S. Main Street was sold, completing the disposition of the campus for General Stamping and Metalworks. In September of 2017, the manufacturing portion of the campus was sold to another local business.
The transaction was a collaborative effort by brokers, George Cressy, Tony Davey, and Christopher Barth. The Cressy team was able to dispose the 11-acre campus within 12 months after agreeing to list the property.
General Stamping and Metalworks has been a leading provider of manufacturing solutions to progressive OEM’s worldwide for over 90 years and three generations. Established in Southern Michigan, General Stamping and Metalworks purchased new land and constructed a state of the art facility. Northwest side of South Bend to accommodate for their rapid growth. The completion of their new facility led them to accommodate Cressy Commercial Real Estate to handle the sale of the former headquarters.
