Cressy Commercial Real Estate Attains Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification
June 11, 2024
Mishawaka, IN. – Cressy Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified by the National Native American Supplier Council (NNASC). The certification validates Cressy’s status as a minority-owned business, which the NNASC rules as being at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by racial or ethnic minorities who are also U.S. citizens. The fulfillment of these qualifications is a testament to Cressy’s partnership with Mno-Bmadsen, the non-gaming investment arm of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, which acquired a majority stake of Cressy early last year.
The certification provides minority businesses with an array of exclusive benefits, including business visibility, exclusive contracting opportunities, networking connections, financial assistance, and training and development resources. It allows Cressy to forge new partnerships not only with prospective corporate buyers, but also with local, state, and federal government departments.
“Our MBE status not only strengthens Cressy’s position in the market, but also exemplifies its dedication to fostering economic growth within Native American communities,” said Chris Fielding, CEO of Cressy Commercial Real Estate. “The support of the NNASC and Mno-Bmadsen has been instrumental in this chapter of our growth, and we are grateful to continue expanding our client base on a regional and national scale.
The NNASC is the premier certifying body for tribally and indigenous owned businesses. It exemplifies the laws and regulations that govern Native American communities that allows them to advance toward economic equity. Cressy is honored to be a part of that mission.
