About City Center Lofts

City Center Lofts, originally constructed in 1882, is situated at 74 W. Main Street in the Arts District of Downtown Benton Harbor, MI. This two-story building, located at the corner of Main and Pipestone Streets, offers convenient access to nearby amenities. Cressy Commercial Real Estate has fully revitalized the property, undertaking both interior renovations and a restoration of the original brick façade. The 20,000-square-foot project includes two commercial spaces and three apartments on the first floor, with an additional thirteen apartments on the second floor.

The Residential Space

The Residential Space offers 16 neo-industrial style lofts in the heart of the Benton Harbor Arts District. These unique units feature exposed ductwork, spiral staircases, and 16-foot ceilings. Ranging from studio apartments to one-bedroom units with an office, each loft has its own distinct design. Additionally, commercial space is available on the first floor.

Residential Unit FAQ’s

A: There are 16 individual units that range from $1,100 to $1,750 each. Please see the floor plans, pricing, and availability below.

A: Utilities are not included in the monthly rental cost.

A: We currently offer 12-month leases.

A: Please reach out to Jackson Helsley, the City Center Lofts Property Manager at jhelsley@cressy.com or at (574) 271-4060. He can assist you with the application process. If the units happen to be full, he can add you to our wait list.

A: There is a $40 application fee and $1,200 security deposit due at time of move-in.

A: Parking is included in your monthly rent.

A: Yes. We will accept pets under 30 lbs. There is a $300 non-refundable deposit and a $25 monthly fee.

A: Yes. One month of free rent for the residential unit with a minimum of a 3-year commercial space lease.
