Indiana University graduate Brady Smith brings a strong background in leadership, communication, and people-focused operations to his role as Human Resources Administrator here at Cressy Commercial Real Estate. Born and raised in Mishawaka, Brady attended Penn High School, where he participated in the Early College program. Through advanced coursework and college-level classes, he earned his associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College alongside his high school diploma, giving him an early start toward his professional career.
Brady’s passion for Human Resources began while working at Dairy Queen during high school. Starting as a team member and advancing to Shift Manager at just 16 years old, he quickly discovered a passion for the people side of business. His responsibilities included training, onboarding, conflict resolution, and supporting day-to-day team operations, experiences that helped shape his career path in HR.
He later attended Indiana University Bloomington, where he studied Management and Human Organization with a minor in Business through the Kelley School of Business. During his time there, Brady continued developing his understanding of leadership, workplace culture, and organizational communication, and how those elements contribute to employee growth and long-term success. His early college experience ultimately allowed him to graduate ahead of schedule and begin pursuing the career he is passionate about sooner.
